PRP injections are done on an outpatient basis and can be performed as a PRP (vampire) facelift or facial. During your procedure, blood is extracted from a vein in your arm. Then the blood is put through a centrifuge to isolate the PRP, a process that takes about 20 minutes. Once your blood has been purified, the PRP is injected into the treated area to produce a rejuvenated appearance.
PRP can take approximately two hours to complete and there is little to no downtime required. You will be able to return to normal activities the next day, and any swelling or redness will fade over the next few days.
